Our School

Our school is a place where children are encouraged to develop a positive attitude towards work and behaviour within a Christian framework of values and beliefs.

We hope you will find our school to be caring and friendly, a school where every child is given the chance to achieve their potential and to aim for excellence. Situated half a mile from the centre of the village, the school caters for all children from rising 5’s to those of eleven years of age. The school was founded in 1851 and as a church Aided school, the Governors ensure that all staff support the principles behind a Church School.

Milford Primary School and Milford Pre-School Plus have been successful in getting a major Government grant for a build and refurbishment programe.

The new facilities now include:

New Pre-School Plus
New build of 3 light airy classrooms
Remodelled central library and music studio
New access for the wider community
New community rooms
Overhaul/replacement of wiring and plumbing
Increased space for quiet areas
Extension of ICT provision
Replacement of old metal framed windows with modern double glazing
