Information for parents
We operate an "open door “ policy to encourage and value parents as important school life.
Regular newsletters keep parents involved and informed as well as termly information sheets from each Year group about the work the children are undertaking and planned activities due to take place.
Parents are invited to class assemblies.

Parents evenings are held regularly and parents are also encouraged to discuss anything as regards their child's welfare and learning as and when necessary and appropriate.
Many parents help in school e.g. Reading, craft groups, cooking, swimming, transport, help on trips and are encouraged to support school events and activities. (see below)
We have an active Parent Friends Association which provides additional funding for resources and facilities for the children. It holds an AGM in October and runs a series of events and activities during the year. Each class is encouraged to have at least one parent representative and the committee also includes a staff representative and the Headteacher.
